Port de Saint Vaast La Hougue

Troisième port de pêche de la Manche, situé dans le Val de Saire, à l’extrémité nord-est de la presqu’île du Cotentin, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue est également un centre ostréicole réputé, et une station balnéaire appréciée, bénéficiant d’un patrimoine architectural et historique remarquable et d’un arrière-pays de grande qualité. Son port de plaisance jouit d’une situation privilégiée au cœur d’un plan d’eau protégé. Venant de l’Est et du Nord, on y fait escale avant de contourner le Cotentin pour, ensuite, faire route vers les Îles Anglo-Normandes et les côtes de la Bretagne.

Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue is the third largest fishing harbour in La Manche. It’s located in the North-East corner of the Cotentin Peninsula. It is renowned for its oyster farm and is highly rated as a sea- side resort with its note-worthy historical heritage and its exceptional beauty. Its yachting marina is in a favoured geographical position in a sheltered bay. It acts as a stop over point for boats coming from the East and North before they round the Cotentin Peninsula and heading for the Channel Island and the Northern coast of Brittany.
